SLWF-08 - Wi-Fi HDMI-CEC Controller & LED Ambilight Module (ESPHome/Tasmota-Compatible)
The SMLIGHT SLWF-08 is a compact Wi-Fi hardware controller that allows smart-home systems to send and receive HDMI-CEC commands to compatible TVs, receivers, and media devices. Based on ESP8266, it integrates with ESPHome or Tasmota, enabling power control, input switching, volume adjustments, mute functions, and real-time status reporting - all directly within Home Assistant or other automation platforms.
Additionally, the SLWF-08 includes a dedicated level-shifted GPIO pin for WS2812B LED strips, enabling ambient backlighting behind a TV.
ATTENTION 1: HDMI-CEC compatibility is not guaranteed. Users must verify that their device supports CEC. ATTENTION 2: This is a development board with sample firmware. Users must flash ESPHome/Tasmota manually.
